Req Details:
  The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in design, development, testing and implementing ETL jobs (both server and parallel) in IBM DataStage Enterprise Editions: 7.5.1 and 8.5 (both Editions)

 

Job Description: Candidate should have

• Understanding of ETL processes and Best Practices thereof.

• Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience with IBM DataStage Server and Parallel Jobs

• Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience with XML packages in DataStage.

• Strong knowledge in Oracle & SQL Server.

• Understanding of change management processes

• Understanding of Production Support (PS) processes

• Strong ability to work independently as a developer

• Good and / or diverse understanding of IT infrastructure and other technologies

• Ability to deal with business users

• Firm understanding of software development Lifecycle, release management and change management process

• Familiar with development tools such as Visual SourceSafe

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be team player and self motivated, work independently with minimum direction BA or BS required or equivalent related work experience
