Job Description

The Business Objects Administrator will serve as a key member of the team and will be focused on installing and configuration of entire Business Objects 4.0 Platform and analytic capabilities. The individual will be responsible for Business Objects XI platform installation, Web Servers and Application server configuration for Business Objects, LDAP / AD authentication administration, Clustering, User/Profiles administration, BOXI platform migration and performance tuning technical support and troubleshooting of Business Objects implementation in a shared environment

 

•  BOBJ 4.0 server installation, implementation of Share point integration tool kit, BW-BO configuration, maintenance, technical support and troubleshooting of Business Objects implementation in a shared environment.

•Administering BOBJ Security settings and setting up user, user groups and application security.

• Implementing BOBJ solutions on top of SAP BI 7.0, SAP ECC and Non SAP Environment.

• Tracking of Critical Business Objects Enterprise patches.

• Conduct Capacity planning and projections for a large / high capacity reporting environment and BOBJ Environment performance tuning.

•Experience planning hardware requirements and setting backup strategies.

•Develop scripts and other programs for system monitoring and maintenance.

•Supporting and maintaining the Business Objects servers and application suite.

•Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

•Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field preferred

•5 + years experience administering BO XI 3.x, BO 4.0  Crystal reports, Web intelligence, Xcelsius etc.

•3 + years demonstrated experience with formal data warehousing architectures and Meta data management is required.

•Business Object Administration Certification is Plus.
