Position : WebSphere ESB Developer

Duration : 6 months

Location : Miami FL





BASIC PURPOSE: The WebSphere ESB Developer is responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation, documentation, and day-to-day operation of effective system-to-system integration between customer facing web sites and all Back End systems on which they depend. As an application developer for WebSphere ESB, ESB Developer will design, develop and support application solutions using WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to meet client requirements.





POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Experience with WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) V7.

· Extensive use of WESB Development Tools (WebSphere Integration Developer - WID, Eclipse

· Knowledge of Web Services ( SOAP, WSDL, HTTP, JMS, XSD), Standards such as WSDL, SOAP, XML and Web services for J2EE, Messaging Technologies (JMS & MQ

· Good Knowledge on Mediation Module, Flow components, Service Message Components, Integration methodology and best practices, good experience in Java and Oracle PL/SQL.

· Design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.

· Provides system "on call" support required to bring production systems to an operational state. Oversees diagnosis and problem determination activities, to resolve any technical problems that may occur.

· Perform system administration functions necessary to support continuous day-to-day system operations. Required to understand and monitor all data system processes in case of system failures, system changes or other notable issues warranting escalation.

· Analyze information system requirements, create designs, and provide documentation by utilizing specified tools and methodologies.

· May define standards and procedures; refine methods and techniques for information modeling and best practices for WESB application software development and deployment.

· Participates in the on-going review and analysis of equipment and software. This takes into consideration capacity, performance and projected useful life in light of forecasted demand and technological developments.

· Maintains a high level of expertise in application systems, infrastructure and new/upcoming technologies. Must attend training classes to stay current with new technologies to support the business.
· Provides status reports to management on business and technical solutions.
