Job Title: SQL Server DBA               

Location: Boston

Duration: 3 Months renewable

JD - Strong Knowledge in MS SQL(2005 & 2008)

Strong Knowledge SQL Server Administrator

Basic Administration capabilities to handle wide range of DB's and schemas

Should have experience in Data Migration Activities

Should have excellent communication skills

Troubleshooting issues like log shipping, mirroring, replication, SSIS packages or any SQL server jobs.

Have had exposure to clusters in our Coop environment.

Proactive monitoring of the databases with automation and regular

Database maintenance like reindexing, shrinking and updating statistics.

This includes backup check, space monitoring, job failure check.

Follow procedures and policy-Any changes in the databases like schema change / SSIS package change to be done in DEV, QA and PROD in order

Preparation of Technical documents related to the project
