The hiring manger seeks a Java developer to deliver back end solutions. This position is NOT for development of a front end or web application.

. Plans, conducts, and coordinates programming activities supporting applications services built on JAVA, Oracle RDBMS, LINUX, and SOA (TIBCO ActiveMatrix) infrastructure. Analyzes, designs, implements and extends JAVA based applications/services to solve business and technical problems, questions or processes. May work with business users to develop statements of problems and requirements. The Java Developer will perform primarily as a developer working on modification to existing code base (including local services) as well as trouble shooting production and performance issues. Development solutions include configuration and extensions. The developer will utilize enterprise and local services and complex canonical structures to implement business and technical processes. Other activities include: develop tests including performance tests, correct program errors, prepare operating instructions and compile documentation of program development. This is a fast paced environment requiring flexibility and the ability to multitask.

Additional Job Details: REQUIERED SKILLS: * 1-3 years of Java design and development experience (Java, J2EE, JMS, JDBC) * SOA design, development, testing * SOAP, XSD, WSDL, XML, XSL, XPath * LINUX * Experience with design patterns * OraclePL/SQL and Oracle RDBMS * Hibernate, iBatis, or Spring Batch framework * Unit testing (JUnit, JMock) * Service interface testing (SOAPUI) * Able to work in a team environment, with mentors and collaborators available to help troubleshoot issues. * Able to work closely with operations group for deployment, troubleshooting, maintenance. * Strong communication and problem solving skills * Candidate should be familiar with an able to work in both Agile Scrum and * *Waterfall methodologies. Must be capable of following corporate standards for SOA and programming and design practices. DESIRED SKILLS: Desired Skills . Experience in a continuous build environment (Ant/Maven, Hudson, Nexus) . HealthCare Knowledge . Eclipse . Tibco ActiveMatrix or Tibco BW . Agile / Scrum methodology . HP Quality Center . Sun Certified Programmer for Java Platform . BS - desired but not required
