SAP ABAP developer ( with FICO – CO-PA ) – Please send with two references.

Location : North suburbs of chicago

3 months + long term anticipated

Rate- $65 all incl.  Locals preferred..

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Senior SAP ABAP programmer/analyst will work with our Project Team consisting of internal IT, Business and 3rd Party Vendor representatives to implement two external software applications/ tools for contract management and pricing and integrate them with SAP. 

EXPERIENCE

• More than 7 years' experience creating functional and technical specifications, and ABAP coding,

• Experience with developing interfaces between SAP R/3 or ERP 6.0 and third party applications

• experience with FI, CO-PA and SD, PI experience is desirable

• Experience with developing interfaces to/from SAP to external tools, including master and transaction data including:

- Customer, customer hierarchy and partner types;

- Material and product hierarchy

- Pricing condition records

- Open and cleared deductions

- FI document creation (debit/credit memos, rebate accrual and settlement requests), Invoice files, etc.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• SAP 4.7 development experience working with BAPIs, BDC, IDOC, ALE

• Knowledge of one or more of the following: FI/CO and SD, MM

• Experience with dialog programming and SAP Workflow development

• Experience with ABAP Objects and BADIs

• Functional knowledge (needed to code not to do config) is a plus.

• Ability to adhere to company's Change Management policies and ABAP Development Standards

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate business requirements and functional designs into technical design and code

• Complete Technical Specifications through collaboration with IT Support Teams

• Identify requirements for interfaces, configuration, new program logic and new custom tables, as needed

• Develop project documentation, including technical design, data flows, and test scripts

• If necessary, create test plans, and perform unit and system testing

• Develop any interfaces needed to integrate master and transaction data to/from SAP and external applications
