Application Server Administrator required at Franklin Lakes, NJ for 6+ months

Title: Application Server Administrator

Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ

Duration: 6+ months minimum

Rate: DOE

 

Requirement / Responsibilities:

• 5 or more years experience in installation, configuration, and administration of tomcat/apache servers.

• Proficient in analyzing instance thread and heap dumps.

• Experience in setting up of instance, Virtual Hosts.

• Proficient in working with SSL.

• Proficient in the administration of Apache based web servers.

• Experience on AIX and/or Red Hat Linux.

• Very detail oriented and experience working in a production environment using Change Control practices and working under technical project plans and timelines.

• Ability to work independently on projects.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Planning, Testing, Installation, Tuning, and general administration of a complex distributed computing environment based on tomcat/apache servers.

• Shell scripting to automate tasks.

• Collaboration with other teams in the planning, architecture, and implementation of new applications, standards and processes.
