Experience supporting end-user community, working with vendors to resolve HW and SW problems
Experience managing to SLAs and consistently achieving pre-defined metrics
Ability to apply ABAP and Java support packages
Ability to clearly communicate technology issues, plans and solutions from both a business perspective and a technical perspective providing pros and cons for recommended solutions.
Experience supporting multiple hardware server platforms and operating systems
Minimum 8 years of strong hands on technical experience with SAP, including SAP Basis Administration, in a large-sized environment with at least 3 years in a lead technical role
2 Full Life Cycle implementations, preferably with Global Template/Rollout Methodology for ECC and supporting systems like APO, BW, SRM and SNC
Proven project management experience in managing system setup in matrix or shared service organizations
Prior implementation experience in the following Business Packages SRM, APO,SNC
Understanding integrating SAP Portals with Websphere Portal, Siteminder and Kerberos. (a Plus)
Proven experience in SAP performance and availability monitoring
Experience designing and utilizing service-oriented architectures (SOA
5 years Oracle Database administration experience
Very strong technical skills in Unix (HP-UX 11.3) and ORACLE Database. Expertise in handling application related issues at the OS level in Unix (HP-UX 11.3)
Multiple installs and support on SAP systems with Oracle DB
SAP technical architecture skills
Excellent working knowledge of the operating system (SUSE LINUX and UNIX) and database in use (Platform, OS & DBA).
SOA background/experience (a Plus)
Understanding of Websphere integration technologies
Experience developing and enforcing standards: Technical architecture, environment, etc.
Candidate must have 5 years of business experience in a systems development and implementation role and have a track record of successful implementations with increasing project scopes.
Candidate must be well organized and capable of juggling numerous priorities.
Additional 5+ years of general IT experience, preferably in a business-facing role
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement customer-focused processes & procedures
Excellent people skills with ability to develop and maintain professional relationships |

| Roles & Responsibilities | Manage work in the technical areas of the PSES Project requirements, upgrades and existing and new projects/implementations. Ensure the SAP technical/Netweaver architecture meets business platform requirements. Track SAP infrastructure and technical developments and report status to functional teams. Manage incoming technical requests from functional teams. Manage work through internal shared service organizations (Enterprise Data Center) and external 3rd parties.
Monitor and maintain SAP systems environments for optimum performance and be proactive in identifying potential problems (environments include Sandbox, Development, QA and Production). Planning and Impact analysis for the core Basis functions (e.g., corrections, support packs, kernels, transports). Assist with reviewing custom code, analyzing the impact of the proposed technical solutions. Assist in creating and modifying strategies, resolve problems and document issues and resolutions. Must have good interpersonal skills. . |
| Generic Managerial Skills | Must be able to establish strong working relationships with both technical and non-technical members of staff, be sensitive when introducing new technologies and methodologies to established groups and products, but have the conviction to push through technologies that are in the best interests of the company.
