Title: Sr Systems Admin

Location: Metro Detroit, MI

Duration: 6 months

Skills Required:

Skilled in a variety of server hardware, operating systems, middleware,

database management systems, and high-availability solutions.

. Deep technical knowledge of Linux (SUSE 9/10/11) administration

that includes applying patches, installing software, managing file systems,

monitoring performance, scripting, and troubleshooting error conditions (

system down, disk full, CPU busy, memory full etc.)

. Deep technical knowledge of Database (Oracle 10/11g) Administration

that includes installation, configuration, security, backup, recovery,

troubleshooting, and tuning of Oracle Databases;

. Server Hardware Configuration and Management:

Experience performing hardware upgrades for Intel and/or RISC computing systems.

Skills Preferred:

Cisco network administration experience: knowledge of TCP/IP

network technologies, troubleshooting, and network design,

knowledge of switched LAN technologies and router administration

and configuration . Storage (SAN and NAS) Administration

. Windows 2003/2008 and VMware (ESX3/4) OS Administration on HP and/or IBM hardware

. Experience with MS SQL Server, IBM Websphere and Computer Associates eTrust SeOS software
