Oracle DBA 

Rate:  $55 per hour
Duration: 3 years
Location : Glen Burnie, MD

We have an Oracle DBA position with the state agency  for administering and maintaining the safety of Highways throughout the State. There are several applications designed, supported Development and Testing and migrated them to Production. There are many applications in the process of migration from Ms Access to Oracle platform in Development and Testing Stages. 

Oracle 11g Data Guard was configured and administered with remotely placed Standby Databases under Disaster Recovery Planning(DRP). Currently implementing 11gR2 - MAA (Maximum Availability Architecture) by integrating RAC, DATA GUARD and GRID CONTROL. We need a strong candidate to work on this long term DBA task order .  This is an on-going project that we have been involved in and hiring will be very quick for the appropriate candidate.
