ROLE: SQL Server DBA

Duration: - 6+ month

Location: - Sacramento, CA

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•             SQL Server 2008 experience.

•     Experience as a MS SQL development/administrator on large scale software development project...

•      Must have experience in troubleshooting complex SQL stored procedures and queries.

•          Must have experience in writing complex SQL queries.

•         Must have experience in developing and troubleshooting SSIS packages.

•        Education: Baccalaureate or graduate degree (MS, MA, PhD) from an accredited

•         Minimum 1 year experience with MS-Reporting Services (SSRS)

•         Minimum 1 year experience with MS-Integration Services (SSIS)

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

·         It is desirable that the Database Designer has experience working with MS SQL Server 2008 cluster including database schema design.

·         Optimization, SQL development, failover, replication, XML,

·         Familiarity with Oracle Identity Manager

·         Experience with IDMS and/or DB2

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTED DELIVERABLES:

•             Releasing database scripts to development and QA testing environments.

•             Proficient in backup and restores duties.

•             Working and co-coordinating with Developers to do weekly builds.

•             Do database code reviews.

•             Create data dictionary and maintain database baselines.

•             Help developers in developing SSRS reports.

•             Creating, maintaining, and optimizing database objects (e.g. views, catalogs, and triggers).
