Job Description for Data Architect Position.

 

• Over all data warehousing experience of 4-6 years
• Understand business attribute requirements.
• Responsible for requirement/impact analysis for new requirements.
• Map business requirements to available sources/attributes.
• Data Profiling/Data Analysis/Source System analysis.
• Creation of ETL specification/Data Mapping.
• Discussion with business analyst/users
• Map source system attributes to targets within the FSLDM. Should have experience in detailing the required transformation rules.
• Good understanding of financial logical Data Model Tera Data (FSLDM).
• Experience in customizing the FSLDM model.
• Map FSDLM structures to target structures in downstream data marts.
• Communicating with the users on a timely basis on the requirements, mappings, and technical specifications.
• Banking domain knowledge.
• Strong analytical problem solving skills.
• Good Team player.
• Should be able to work independently with minimum guidance from PM.
• Excellent communication skill to co-ordinate between various parties including IT & USER groups.
• Good attitude.
• Should be able to delegate the work to the team and track for completion.
• Able to priorities important and urgent issues.
• Responsible for timely/quality deliverable.
