Job Title:                Developer / Performance Tuning Expert

Location:                St. Louis, MO

Skills:                     Teradata, SQL, Performance Tuning experience

Duration:                6 months Contract

Start:                      Immediate

 

         Here are some high level attributes that would fit a Teradata performance tuning resource.

 

1. Leverage DBQL for identifying/measuring/reporting of SQL opportunities for optimization.
2. Knowledge of using viewpoint/Teradata manager to identify high impact sessions.
3. Strong knowledge of EXPLAIN.
4. Familiarity with tools that support EXPLAIN plans.
5. SQL tuning experience.
