Position:Test Analyst
Location: Sacramento California
Duration: 2 years Contract (Long Term)
This Interface Test Analyst will work with a team which will include interface analysts, vendors, build specialists, end users and the interface project manager. Primary duties will be the development of future state test scripts, coordination of test activities, executing the test plan and documenting outcomes.
Job Requirements: The consultant will be working under the supervision of the I.T. Systems Integration Manager and require extensive collaboration with many Health System and IT departments. Requirements include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for detailed development and execution of all testing activities for the duration of the Epic implementation project
Collaborates with vendor and internal team members to insure scenarios are accurately documented with an appropriate level of detail
Participates in the detailed development of formal test plans and formal test case design (i.e., creates and executes test scripts, cases, and scenarios that will determine if the system is performing according to specifications)
Identifies system design conflicts during the test planning process and helps to identify workflow or functionality problems
Assists Project Manager with coordinating logistics with project team members to ensure testing activities are carried out as planned
Leads and participates in all phases of interface testing such as system, unit, load, and acceptance testing
Analyzes test results, keeps defect logs and coordinates resolution and retesting efforts where needed
