Sr AIX Admin 

LOCATION: Jersey City, NJ

DURATION: 4 months 

PAY RANGE: $55/hr 

DESCRIPTION: 

Sr AIX Admin

• Minimum 7-10 yrs of AIX Experience on administration of IBM AIX 6.x, IBM P7/P6 enterprise series architecture.
• Experience in Cross Platform OS migrations from Solaris to AIX including Server Hardware Sizing, Designing and Actual Migrations is a must on IBM AIX and SUN Solaris Platforms.
• OS migration experience in other Unix Flavours will be an added advantage.
• Good at Server Builds, Installations, Configuration on IBM P7 series hardware.
• Excellent skills on IBM Server/Hardware sizing, designing and installation of VIO,HACMP, LPAR, DLPAR, WLPAR.
• Good at SUN Solaris 10 OS Administration. Good to have skills on SUN Cluster, VCS, VXVM, UFS, Zones, LDOMS and Solaris Projects.
• Good at understanding IBM based Storage and Backup Products.
• Excellent Communication Skills with focus on understanding the Client requirement.
• Working experience in  ITIL framework environments and Standards.
• Good at technical documentation.
