Web Hosting Solutions Architect

Location: Norfolk, VA.

Duration: 9 month contract

 

Job Description:

As a Web Hosting Infrastructure Architect, you'll be part of a talented team that provides highly available and scalable shared infrastructure services under a multi-tenant hosting model that optimizes resources and provides economies of scale.

 

Technologies:

Active Directory, Cisco, Cloud Computing, Data Domain, Dell, DNS, EMC, IDS, Linux, Load Balancing, MS Windows 2003/2008, NAS, Netbackup, Open-Source, Perl, Replication, SAN, Security, SNMP, SNORT, VMware

 

Minimum Qualifications

*  BS in CS/IT/EE. In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience

*  Five years experience in an Internet service provider or enterprise-level environment

*  Strong Linux and open-source technologies

*  Good troubleshooting skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

*  Track record of building and managing mid to large sized consumer facing web hosting environments

*  Experience building out Private Cloud environment

*  Ability to navigate and manage both Linux and Windows platforms

*  Strong scripting or programming skills

*  Excellent written/oral communication skills

*  Five to ten years experience building and managing IT infrastructure in a web hosting enterprise level environment
