QA with Oracle Financial, BA and current Banking exp is Must.

 

Title: Senior QA – with investment banking exp, Oracle Financials exp

Role Summary:
The role is for a Technology QA (Quality Analyst) that has worked on large scale system migrations for Financial Reporting and Business Management Reporting systems.
The Technology QA will directly document requirements and support IT testing for GL processing and Financial Reporting applications enhancements related to the   project.  They will assist IT stake-holders through development, QA Testing, dress rehearsals and Go-Live migration activities to complete the merger integration.

Responsibilities:
• Document IT requirements, design and development tasks for Oracle GL configuration and implementation
• Participate GL implementation for Oracle financials (new Canadian business entity and branches)
• Manage GL integration testing for source system feeds to GL (including data validation processes and APIs)
• Manage reference data migration for in-scope GL systems (Oracle financials and other offshore/international GL systems)
• Implementation of new, enhanced Chart Of Accounts for Oracle Financials (US & CAD Set of Books)
• Conform and implement user security requirements to support new business lines migrating from NV to plc
• Ensure GL functionality fully supports enhanced business processes per NV to plc migration (Ops, HR etc)
• Update Oracle Web ADI to support end-user testing and prototype activities (GL accounting files)
• Document the changes related to transactional data flows from source systems to sub-ledger systems and Financial Reporting systems
• Confirm the reference/static data mappings and RBS golden sources are aligned
• Document and implement UAT test scenarios and test plan

Essential Experience:
The new team member will need background  experience in the following areas:
• GL systems (general ledger):  Oracle Financials, Oracle Web ADI
• Financial Reporting Systems (any of the following): OBIEE, OBIAA, Essbase
• Test Management systems: HP Quality Center, HP Test Director (or equivalent test management, defect tracking application)
• Business Background (any of the following): 
o Investment Banking (Sales, Trading, Operations, Finance) 
o Commercial Banking
o Merchant Banking (Import/Export Trade Finance)
o Credit & Loans  (Lending Operations)
o Regulatory Reporting or Compliance
o Finance:  Month-End , Quarter-End, Year-End processing (manual and application procedures)
• Clear communication skills: Document Technology Requirements and Business Process Changes, Develop presentations, PMO Dashboards, Present metrics to management team
• Develop test cases and scenarios
Supplementary Experience:
