JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:

 

·         3+ years of experience with Base SAS

·          1+ years of experience with Solaris

·          1+ years of experience with Oracle databases

·          Experience with IBM WebSphere or other Java application server

·          Familiarity with SAS Business Intelligence tools but not required.

·          Familiarity with SAS Risk Dimensions but not required.

 

·          Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·          Administer servers, storage, applications, backups and account authorization and

authentication

·          Install, maintain, and update software for operating systems, application and utilities

·          Troubleshoot hardware, software, or performance problems

·          Develop automation scripts to optimize system administration and business processes

·          Interface with customers during problem resolution

 

 

·          Knowledge/Abilities:

 

·          Extensive experience administering servers, storage, applications, backups and account

·          authorization and authentication.

·          Basic knowledge of Sun Solaris.

·          Basic knowledge of Oracle database.

·          Basic knowledge of IBM WebSphere or other Java application servers.

·          Basic knowledge SAS installation procedures and software maintenance.

·          Basic knowledge of shell scripts.

·          Familiarity with SAS Business Intelligence tools but not required.

·          Familiarity with SAS Risk Dimensions software but not required.
