Description:

Client need to fill the role of senior IT resource (Data Analyst) with diverse technology and / or business skills, and extensive experience with full life cycle development projects where multiple concurrent projects leverage a full complement of technology based solutions in support of complex OLAP business models.
This resource, under the supervision of the IT Manager , will work on ensuring high quality outcomes for vendor OLAP deliverable in the area of the data and applications analyses, systems design and development, data acquisition and conversion, user interfaces, internal and external data interfaces, testing, and reporting. The position requires superior technical and / or business analyst knowledge and experience with OLAP applications. The principal responsibilities will be to monitor and review a large volume of technical and / or business deliverables across the SDLC to ensure adherence to requirements and to provide high quality guidance for corrective actions where necessary

 

Required Skills:
*Minimum 7 yrs IT extensive hands-on experience in providing programming / data/ business analyst services to address challenging requirements across all facets of the SDLC for large and complex customer OLAP applications.
*Extensive experience in review of peer delivered SDLC artifacts including, but not limited to, design, analyses, requirements, testing, and operations across a multitude of complex technologies and business domains.
* Technical and / or business experience in designing, developing, and maintaining synchronous and asynchronous internal and external interfaces and associated secure data transfer protocols and mechanisms.
*Technical and or business experience in designing, developing, and validating data conversions, reviewing data quality as well as data quality controls, efficient extraction of data, and in developing reports.
* Experience with data analyses, data mapping, and data validations.
*Experience with software change management on multiple technology platforms.
*Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with proven strengths in handling difficult IT problems.
*Effective written and oral communications skills

 

 

Preferred Skills:
*IT and / or business knowledge in the healthcare domain, especially with health insurance or Medicaid systems.
*Hands-on experience with as many as possible with the following technology; mainframe applications programming, COBOL, DB2, Oracle, Pega, SOA, EDI, FileNet, SAS, OLTP, Exadata and additional two years of IT work experience.
*Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or computer Engineering or and additional 2 yrs of IT work experience.
