Job Description:
The role is to act as a senior developer in key implementations of SharePoint applications into a higher educational environment for internal and external customers.  Project work may span from integrating 3rd party applications, to customizing pre-existing applications, to custom build from scratch.  Working closely with product managers, business groups, and partners, the candidate will have the opportunity to combine your technical skills, creativity, and customer focus to delivery great solutions that ensure our organization gets the best out of our technologies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Subject matter expert for SharePoint
•Business Intelligence Center and Dashboard Designer
•Modify/Create SQL for reports
•Develop SharePoint Workflows
•Focus on technical knowledge
•Workflow development
•Serve as a developer on several SharePoint assignments
•Strong passion for SharePoint
•Analytical problem solving

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
•Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience working with SharePoint
•Developer background with Microsoft applications
•Business Intelligence Center and Dashboard Designer experience.
•Strong understanding of SQL
•Workflow development experience
•Proven SharePoint deployment, development and implementation experience

Preferred Qualifications
•Developer background with Microsoft.
•MS certification preferred (eg. MCITP, MCP or MCTS)
•InfoPath forms development and troubleshooting and basic design skills.
•SQL Server/RDBMS and related technologies like BI & Reporting Services.
•Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
•Understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services technologies.
•Understanding the importance of Active Directory and Authentications mechanisms.
•Recognizing the benefits and limitations of working with a meta-data customization model.
