Required skills:
- Familiar with ITIL (does n't need to be certified but they should at least look it up online)
- Service Oriented Architecture
- REST/SOAP Knowledge
- XML Knowledge (Xquery, XSLT)
- Object Oriented Programming (atleast proficient in a major platform like .Net, or Java, Javascript)
- Software design patterns (Just be aware of what they are)
- Security concepts
- Cloud Computing Concepts (doesn't need to be specific to any cloud)
- Familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle and its different methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
