We are currently seeking a C/C++ Developer to assist our client's projects and process.

 

The Job Details are as follows:-

Role                 : C/C++ Developer

Location           : Silver Spring, MD

Duration           : Long term Contract (2+ Years)

 

Job Description:

Provides technical design, development, support, and systems administration for IT platforms in one or more highly specialized phases of software development.

 

Experience:

UNIX, C/C++, TCP/IP - Interprocess Communication, Python, Oracle
High availability, high performance and high transaction processing environments (experience in the payments industry a plus)
Designing, Developing, Testing, and Implementing software applications

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Defines specifications and confers with senior management on the implementation of new or modified operating software programming applications.

Oversees the maintenance of existing applications using standard utilities.

Acts as project lead in program designing, coding, testing, debugging, as well as documentation.

Coordinates the work on applications related to the overall operating system.

Coordinates the testing, installation, and implementation of new/improved systems or upgrades, and confer with management personnel on operational issues. Serve as lead technical advisor and systems liaison.

Implements systems and software and provide technical support along with training on the use of system utilities and operating procedures to the affected end-users.

Implement standards, libraries and other forms of common routines and processes.

Provides input to shape the development methodology.

Reviews and organizes all operational documentation related to the use of system hardware, daily operational and environmental procedures, as well as ensure systems compliance with company requirements through the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures and security standards.

Trains and mentors lower level developers when necessary.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field and 3 year(s) of related work experience.
