Essential:
CMDB Configuration JD:
Experience with ITIL Configuration Management
. Experience with Remedy/Atrium – (what tool Asurion has?)
. Some experience with ITIL Change Management
. Configuration Management Database (CMDB) including all policies, processes, and procedures
Tools Monitoring:
Responsible for daily troubleshooting, support and maintenance of enterprise level monitoring infrastructure - including both remote and hands-on support
- Thoroughly diagram and document monitoring system solutions, configurations, break/fix and disaster recovery procedures
- Acts as technical advisor monitoring projects and designs, with the ability to offer meaningful input on other groups' monitoring projects and designs
- Develop software tools to help improve the efficiency of NOC and other Corp IT teams
- Assist engineers and management with developing long term, enterprise level planning around standards, process, and monitoring best practices
- Analyze business requirements and design comprehensive cost effective enterprise level monitoring solutions
- Assist with and/or provide data specific, relevant reporting to process stakeholders in support of root cause, risk and event mitigation and elimination, automation
- Responsible for special functions and duties as directed by management
