Title: Quality Analyst with Telecom Network LTE experience

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: 3+ Months

Start - ASAP

Rate: $DOE

 

Required skills:

 

·         Manage interactions, requests, etc for multiple projects at any given timeframe 

·         The ability to manage upwards when necessary 

·         Knowledge of LTE technology and have a wireless telecom background (Not super technical).  

·         A self-starter, who can work independently from the rest of the Cognizant project team, but not a lone-wolf 

·         This person will have to deal with the organization changes that will happen over the course of the next several months.  They will need to be comfortable working in a consistently changing environment. 

·         Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when implementing products and solving problems 

·         Highly organized and process oriented. 

·         Ability to work among a number of organizations to develop cohesive processes that streamline product development and testing. 

·         Ability to document new processes and update current processes as needed. 

·         Excellent communication skills required to resolve inter-organization roadblocks. Ability to present data at a high level to upper level managers on complex issues. Ability to analyze trends and develop and recommend solutions. 

·         Demonstrated ability in technical writing, Visio, Powerpoint, Excel, Microsoft Project. 

·         Experience with telecommunications testing strategies, lab environment support, and root cause analysis.

 

Desired Skills:

 

·         IMS/SIP network testing familiarity  

·         Familiarity with 4G LTE technology on both a broad network and user end equipment levels. 

·         Past governance process establishment experience

 

Project Details: 

 

Job Roles / Responsibilities:     

 

a.          Lab Governance:

                     i.      Engage fully with various organizations (IT, EIT, VoLTE services, etc) to bring value to test plans by providing services which may include, but are not limited to, additional test cases.

                   ii.      Provide logistical support such as test data, test environment requests, etc.

                  iii.      Ensure availability of test environment reporting and troubleshooting any issues with the daily environment health check.

                 iv.      Implement processes to ensure all organizations interacting with Mobility Labs follow a standardized process for testing within the lab.  Typical activities include but are not limited to:

a.       Test plan reviews

b.      Test scheduling

c.       Issue resolution

d.      Adherence to agreed upon SLA’s

e.      Executive reporting
