Regional Incident Manager (Banking industry experience is a must)
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: Long Term Contract
Rate: $70 per/hr on c2c
in person interview is required

 

Responsibilities Include

·       Joins major outage calls and drives call to trouble resolution

·       Responsible for immediate engagement/escalation to appropriate support partners

·       Abilityto explain incident troubleshooting progress to client governance teams

·       Coordinates support teams and maintain outage call focus and efficiency

·       Understands all technologies in region and engages appropriate technology subject matter experts

·       Makes hiring, firing, and review recommendations to management.

·       Makes suggestions for improvements to regional incident management

·       Collaborate with Global Operations Command and Control team to ensure timely communication or major network incidents to core GBM stakeholders.

 

 

Skills and Experience

 

·       Minimum of 7 years experience managing and directing technical incidents and support teams

·       Familiarity with ITIL foundations

·       Experience using a trouble ticketing system

·       Experience with creating management reports on  incident environment

·       Experience working to defined service level commitments

·       Proven results driven experience

·       Financial industry experience highly preferred

·       Able to lead a technical trouble shooting bridge with L1 through L4 engineers

·       Highly organized with proven abilities in driving diverse technologies teams to trouble resolution

·       Ability to interface with C level client interfaces

·       Helpdesk/service desk management experience

·       Familiar with networks, as well as Security, Firewalls, F5, Citrix Netscaler, Proxy,DNS/3DNS/wide-ip,

·       Experience with VOIP (Cisco, Avaya)

·       Strong knowledge of Cisco network products

·       Strong client interfacing (great personality)

·       Strong communication skills

·       Microsoft suite (SharePoint would be a plus)

·       Familiarity with monitoring tools :

o   Netcool

o   Netscout

o   Netsocket

o   eHealth

o   IPSLA

 

Preferred

 

·       Financial industry experience

·       Educational/Leadership basis: BS degree.

·       Technology degree and technology vendor certifications
