Duration: 12 + Months
Location: Boca Raton, FL.
They are only looking for 2 – 4 years of experience.
Description of Role/Responsibilities:
The ideal resource will have experience with OBIEE v 11, Informatica Power Center, and a strong understand of logical data model components. Day to Day responsibilities will include verifying accuracy of data, and the maintenance and support of the data warehouse. This resource will be responsible for keeping the Data Warehouse up an running and will have to support server side issues. A thorough understanding of Star Schema and Snow Flake will also be required.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required
- 2+ years' experience required working with OBIEE v 10 or 11
- 2-4 years working with Microsoft SQL server
- 2+ years working with ETL tools 1
Required Skills:
- 2-4 years of experience with Data Warehouse technologies
- 1-2 years of experience with OBIEE (v 10 or 11)
- 2+ years of experience supporting ETL tools (Informatica Power Center , SSIS, or similar)
Desired Skills:
- OBIEE v 11
Skills
- Knowledge of computer development software, such as SQL, Visual Basic, Oracle, etc (Required)
- Knowledge of OBIEE reporting systems including data models and application administration.
- Basic skills using ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, or other similar tools.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implements business rules via ETL tools, stored procedures, middleware, or other technologies
- Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance
- Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program
- Make any configuration changes to the OBIEE configuration to resolve any issues or expand functionality.
- Perform and patches or updates to the Application/Web servers.
- Load peripheral equipment with selected materials for operating runs
- Defines user interfaces and functional specifications.
