 Role: Java/J2EE Developer with Oracle & Financials experience
Location: LOS ANGELES, CA
Duration: 3-6 months
 
Job Responsibilities:
Must be able to work with the Business Users, participate in User Meetings, Requirements Gathering, create Use Cases, UML Diagram.  In general be VERY comfortable participating in the analysis work direct with development team and USERS.
·         Solid technical background with strong experience in Java development technologies:  J2EE, XML, HTML/DHTML/CSS, Java Script, Java Frameworks, JSP, AJAX.
·         Strong experience in development with EJB 2.0, JDBC, JMS and MVC patterns.
·         Strong Oracle 10g DB knowledge and PL/SQL background, and ability to write complex SQL queries.
·         Display problem solving and analytical skills to resolve complex technical problems.
·         Possess an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategies.
·         Capable of understanding existing code and making fixes with minimal impact.
·         Knowledge of Weblogic 9.1 Application Server a plus.
·         Proficient in development using Eclipse and TOAD based IDEs.
·         Crystal Reports development experience a plus.
·         Experience following Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.
·         Experience with object oriented analysis, design and programming, data models and UML.
·         Experience with designing and building medium-to-large multi-tier web applications.
·         Strong communication skills.
·         Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
