Title: Sr Data Modeler
Location: Work from home – opportunity
Duration: Duration: 24 Months (2year contract)
Responsibilities:
• Must have 8-9Yrs of IT experience
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, business analysts, data analysts and other
Data modelers to create data models that extend and attribute the current level of detail,
Along with accompanying documentation in conformance with the applicable data standards
• Create dimensional, normalized and hybrid models for business intelligence projects.
• Maintain models in the model repository using Erwin Model Manager tools.
• Create source-to-target mapping document across environments.
• Work with ETL developers responsible for implementing the mappings,
Responding to and participating in the resolution of issues.
• Provide assistance in defining required data transformations and business rules.
• Support physical database implementation for Oracle including partitions,
Indexes, materialized views, etc.
• Assist in identifying, validating and documenting source system data issues,
Along with supporting triage of data defects found during test cycles.
• Develop & unit test data model solutions for optimal performance.
• Performance tune data model solutions.
• Work with QA Lead and test engineer and review high level data model design
And be the point of contact for any data modeling questions.
• Work with offshore data modelers and participate in code reviews.
