Oracle Developer
Boston  MA
for 6 months

Need Local Candidate from MA

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate on an Agile development team to design and implement strategic reporting functionality using analytics and business intelligence tools.

· Design, develop, optimize, and maintain an Oracle database warehouse.

· Develop, debug, and tune production database performance in a Linux operating system using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

· Work with the Engineering and Operations teams to develop, test, and support Zipcar systems.

Qualifications:

· A passion for database development and leveraging business intelligence analytics technologies such as Spotfire, Cognos BI, Oracle BI.

· In depth knowledge of Oracle 10g/11g SQL and PL/SQL programming.

· Familiarity with Linux operating system and shell scripting.

· Comfortable with Agile development techniques.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Ruby on Rails experience would be a plus, but not required

· Experience in ETL scripting or ETL tools.

· Scripting experience using Perl, Python, Ruby, Tcl.

· Web development experience using HTML/Javascript/CSS.
