Job Description:

 

PTAM : Parallel Tracking And Mapping.

·         Lead planning and execution of plan for technologies work on a multi-million dollar program involving the consolidation of global Finance systems.

·         Currently client and its UK based subsidiary operate separate General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management and other systems.

·         The objective of the project includes integration and consolidation of GL and other Finance Controllership systems onto the Corporate solutions (primarily PeopleSoft).

·         The work entails planning and plan execution across numerous functional workstreams and diverse geographical and functional technology teams.

 

Responsibilities include:

• Drive execution of established plans for remaining Design, Build and Test phase activities.

• Coordinate across Technology teams to establish a detailed Implementation plan

• Work with Technology Leads across various departments and geographies to ensure tasks are well defined and assigned, and dependencies are clear

• Coordinate with PMO to merge business & technology milestones and dependencies within the greater program implementation plan

• Work with PMO & Project Coordinator in maintaining Financials (actual & forecast) for Technology related work

• Drive structure and discipline to Project Management practices such as decisions, status communications, resource planning, task execution, environment migration, and implementation.

• Oversee remaining development and test work, identifying any issues or risks to achieving schedule.

• Work with out-source vendor to maintain the resource plan and ramp down to reduce costs as viable.

• Work with program leadership to ensure resourcing needs are defined and planned, and any issues documented within the plan.

• Work with Test coordinator to ensure testing milestones & dependencies are well understood & managed.

• Provide status, issue and risk tracking, and project financials reporting to Program Leaders.

• Oversee delivery of Build and Implementation artifacts within the project, and for leadership presentation such as Steering Committee meetings.

• Adhere to client project delivery methodology framework  

 

Qualifications:

• 8+ years Project/Program Management experience managing implementation of multi-million dollar programs.

• 3+ years experience leading all or portions of multiple workstreams program with a geographically disbursed team.

• Expertise at structuring a program plan and utilizing MS Project for disciplined task assignment, resource effort leveling, and overall execution.

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of deliverables and effect progress and delivery cross-organizationally.

• Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills; demonstrated abilities to establish credibility with new and upward audiences.

• Proven ability to influence, problem solve, and creatively solution issues in a team setting.

• Technical aptitude; experience with Application development, Application interface development, Data Conversions, Systems Access.
