Position: Application Support Analyst

Location: New Orleans, LA    

Duration: 1 YR plus  

Level: Mid

 

currently hiring an Application Support Consultant in New Orleans, Louisiana. The application support service team requires a high degree of collaboration and the support team is co-located with the Business team in downtown New Orleans on site 5 days a week.

The Application Support Analysts will be responsible for on-time, on-budget, on-scope delivery of assigned tasks and activities. This includes system modifications, bug fixing, system monitoring, risk management, change management, stakeholder management, etc. within the Integrate Support Management framework (ISM).

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS or the equivalent technological degree

Responsibilities:

·         Will provide day-to-day application support activities for deployed Well and Reservoir Management IT Toolkit. The Toolkit is a set of applications intended to support key activities of oil and gas production primarily in North America and other part of the world where the company operates.

·         Will be expected to provide system modifications, bug fixing, system monitoring, and other activities necessary to maintain deployed system availability as Service Level Agreement (SLA) between BAM and the businesses.

·         Have responsibility for the successful interface of key business customers and with the business community in general.

·         Responsible for successful working within the global and regional IT/IM community including excellent written and verbal communications, teamwork ethic, and community building skills.

 

Technical Skills that are Mandatory for this position:

·         Oracle / SQL Server (5-7 years)

·         Microsoft IIS

·         Microsoft SharePoint (3 Years)

·         PI System client tools – Datalink, ProcessBook, Manual Logger (no administration required)

·         Clear English communication skills excellent customer service skills Ability to work in a global and virtual work environment.

·         Energy (1 year)

·         Oil and Gas Extraction/Production (1 year)

·         Experience with Matrikon Process Monitor / ProcessGuard is highly desired.
