URGENT NEED ::: Unix System Admin !!! Bothell, WA !! 6+ Months

Title: Unix System Admin

Location: Bothell, WA 

Duration : 6+ Months

Interviews: Phone and Skype if not local

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: 

At least 3 years of UNIX build experience

3-5 years of UNIX support experience -- At least 2 years ofScripting/Automation experience

Display strong inter-personal and communication skills.

Be self-motivated and able to meet objectives with little or no direct supervision.

Provide 24 x 7 on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members.

Provide troubleshooting for applications and systems.

Provide technical support for Unix related project activities.

4-6 years' experience in an HP-UX and/or SunSolaris Unix environment.

Proven competency with most UNIX commands/utilities.

Knowledge of or experience with C programs.

System installation and configuration experience.

Experience using various monitoring tools such as Glance, Perfview, Top and ITO.

Shell scripting and programming (KSH, TCL/Tk, PERL, AWK).

Familiarity with HP and Sun hardware.

Familiarity with SAN, NAS and other storage technologies.

Familiarity with EMC and/or HP disk arrays and attendant software such as BCV and SRDF.

A degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Preferred skills: 

If candidate have any experience with CSA, ServiceNOW or Puppet it would be a huge plus.

Chosen candidates will be working on cutting edge new products for Platfrom as a Service (Paas) with Puppet and ServiceNOW.

UNIX build/support Engineer IaaS/PaaS experience preferred

Good skills to have (but not required):

ServiceNOW implementation experience

Puppet Labs for Platform as a Service

HP CSA/OO workflow
