Job Title: Mobile Developer- Android
Location: Lexington, South Carolina
Duration: 6-12+ Months Contact
Job Description -
· Development of applications for smart phones and tablet devices or web applications to be used in Insurance domain
· Work with a team developing a variety of applications that enable visualization of data, image capture, Geo location and information sharing amongst users over mobile
· Work on Agile development model to produce high quality mobile apps, story boards and relevant artifacts as needed
· Analyze the requirements, technical design and documentation and accordingly raise queries and provide critical inputs
· Design, develop and deploy of mobility apps using IBM Worklight platform
· Ability to work well in teams to pro-actively share knowledge, information, problems and solutions
· Understand full life-cycle development and delivery of enterprise-class software solutions
· Ability to work in difficult client environment, must possess very good communication and client interaction skills
Minimum work experience: 5-7 years (Total) and 3+ years of experience in Mobility development
Technology: Primary skills: Work light, Desirable - Android development skills
Required skill set for Android -
1. Should have strong JAVA knowledge
2. Should be able to understand visual design specific to varying form factor
3. Sound understanding of Android SDK, OS 2.3 onwards
4. Experience in implementation of MAP API, Camera API, SQLLite, Address book
5. Application distribution process, signing
6. Strong communication skills both oral & written
7. Establish & follow mobile development coding standards
8. Should have knowledge in Android, Parsing, OOPS, GPS, Android design architecture
9. Expert in exception handling, Jason formatting, knowledge of multilingual and multi resolution apps
10. Good knowledge on JDBC, XML, HTML5, XSLT, JavaScript, SQL, Ajax
11. Understanding of jQuery, Snencha toolkit
12. Should have used my Eclipse IDE or similar
13. Should have knowledge of Integration using Restful Web service
