Position :  Java Developer

Location : Rockville, MD

Duration : 6+months contract

 

(In-Person Required)

 

6+ years total Java experience, 2+ years design

Skill Set required description:

·         Have strong OOPS and OOAD concepts.

·         Working knowledge of SOA and related frameworks.

·         Have primarily worked on business layer using Core Java and J2EE technologies.

·         Have implemented at least 2 Gang of Four Patterns whilst developing the business layer.

·         Have used JUnit or equivalent unit testing framework.

·         Experience in JSF, Spring, Struts2, EJB 2/3, Web Services (SOAP, REST) and  ORM frameworks is a must

·         Prior experience with Apache Solr/ Lucene Search framework

·         Exposure to projects / application with Healthcare domain will be nice to have

·         Knowledge of RUP

 

Job Description:

·         Analysis, design, and development of new application features

·         Participate in development of core modules

·         Participate in review process

·         Readily fit into a dynamic team structure

·         Be ready to take up mentoring responsibilities
