Job Summary & Responsibilities :
We expect the successful candidate to have a proven track record leading the delivery of web applications using his/her knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript framework/methodologies.
The candidate will get to work with modern technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, web services, JavaScript libraries (e.g. JQuery) and frameworks (e.g. Angular, Backbone). They should also demonstrate knowledge and interest in the mobile ecosystem (both web and native paradigms).
They should be comfortable working with Agile processes, with an emphasis on writing good quality, easily testable code. They should also be able to collaborate and contribute estimates to the planning process.
Clear verbal and written communication skills will be crucial since the candidate must be able to gather requirements as well as influence and gain consensus for their designs with the global technology team.
Basic Qualifications
•Minimum of 7 years relevant commercial experience
•Strong web and mobile technology skills
•HTML5/CSS3
•Knowledge of core Javascript frameworks (Angular, Backbone, Node)
•Proven record of working across the full product lifecycle: requirements clarification and analysis, producing high level and detailed designs/wireframes, implementation, and providing support
•Experience of applying agile software development methodologies to deliver robust, well tested solutions.
•Knowledge & experience of working with common implementation and web patterns
Preferred Qualifications
•Publishing Content Management Systems (CMS)
•Data Visualization Knowledge/Experience
•Excellent presentation sensibilities and familiarity with Responsive and Adaptive designs
•iOS or Android experience building native applications
•Familiar with REST style services
•Jira, Greenhopper, Jenkins, etc.
