Must have PL/SQL and Web dev exp

 Rate:$40/hr on c2c(MAX RATE)

The main focuses from technical perspective will be questions about .Net, Oracle PL/SQL, and SDLC (they have separate teams that do development/testing/etc – so understanding you aren't testing your own code etc).

 

 

 

Job Description

Responsible to develop, document and maintain intuitive data-driven .NET framework based Web solutions and Oracle PL/SQL programs for client projects and internal initiatives using strong analytical and technical skills. Works with other IT team members and business units to apply knowledge of programming and Internet technologies to design, compose and deploy applications as well as researching and evaluating alternative solutions and making recommendations to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Must have skills

Extensive expertise in WEB application development using ASP.NET, C# and SOAP/RESTful web services, HTML5/jQuery

Experience writing Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and SQL Loader and ASP.NET integration with Oracle

Experience in Mobile development utilizing iOS APIs is a big plus (not required)

Experience defining technical and business requirements through collaboration with product managers and business analysts

Experience with web hosting and IIS 7 configuration

Experience in estimating level of effort and complexity of requirements.

Experience with hands-on custom software development, code reviews and technical design.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Essential Responsibilities

• Design effective web and mobile solutions, develop layout prototypes and concepts, maintain and enhance

• Debug, test, support and provide documentation for existing and newly developed solutions

• Analyze business requirements to define and improve applications and technical processes.

• Work effectively as an individual contributor and/or a member of a project team

• Develop review-friendly prototypes for in-house and client review that have a professional finish and a full and clear set of review instructions and comments

• Actively participate to be a productive member in brainstorming sessions\

• Apply working knowledge of how front-end design connect into back-end resources

• Ensure deliverable product meets all requirements, specifications and timelines

• Ensure product security and compliance with required standards and platform/browser compatibility

• Establish and maintain effective working relationship within the Company and its clients

•             Perform responsibilities in a professional manner, meeting the Company's mission and goals.

•             Support in System, Integration, Validation and User Acceptance test cycles. Troubleshoot and resolve issues found during test cycles.

•             Work with the Project Manager to stay on schedule and in scope, raise and help resolve issues and risks, and accurately represent project status.

•             Ensure compliance with application release management, outage management and change control processes and standards.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science or other related field from a four (4) year college or university

• Minimum of 3 years experience

• Microsoft certification would be a plus

•             Experience with developing in-house or consuming external web service

•             Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.

•             Excellent Understanding of SDLC process, database architecture and data modeling.

•             Working knowledge of db technologies and relational database concepts.

•             Display a helpful attitude towards all employees and respond in a positive manner to tasks assigned by IT team members.

•             Deliver informative, well-organized presentations and product demonstrations.
