Title:                     System Engineer with Release management

Location:            Burlington, MA

Duration:            6 – 12 months

 

Job Description:

 

Consultant would be a member of a cross-functional team that builds and supports web stores and microsites across a variety of platforms, including Magento, Drupal and Wordpress. In addition to server setup and maintenance, we may also call on you to support development projects yourself, so development and software architectural experience is a major plus.

 

Essential Skills & Experience

 

•                     Strong fluency in Linux shell scripting and automation.

•                     Strong knowledge of server-side web performance optimization (caching proxy servers, load balancing, etc.)

•                     Experience with version control (ideally Git, but also CVS or SVN)

•                     Experience with high-sensitivity data and system security (ideally for PCI, but also HIPAA, FERPA, etc.).

•                     Experience with Magento or other e-commerce platforms.

•                     Expertise in PHP or other web server-side language.

•                     Expertise in database architecture and SQL.
