Duration :6-12 month contract

5 plus years' experience in the following:
· Data modeling in 2NF
· Data modeling in 3NF
· Data modeling dimensional data structures
5 plus years' experience working with large multi-terabyte databases
5 plus years' experience working with MPP databases and data structures
5 plus years' experience working with Data warehouses and ODS data structures
5 plus years' experience working with either Erwin or Power Designer a must
Strong experience working with large development teams
Strong experience working with a large offshore development team
Strong experience working in the retail industry
Technologies & Tools:
Some ETL Meta data
80% plus data modeling.
Star Schema and snow flake schema.
Operational Reporting
Long term it will be analytics.
Initial steps are mostly operational.
Development Methodology:
Waterfall iteration and Hybrid Agile
Skills Needed:
Parallel Data Warehouse (PDW)
Teradata
T-SQL is a plus
IBM Neteeza is big plus
Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema
OLTP data modeling
