Job Role: Senior Security Operations Engineer

This person will be in Jersey City, NJ and sometimes Stamford, CT.
Duration: 12 months
Number of Positions : 1

This is position is similar to the Network Operations Engineer however they are looking for someone more senior and with more experience on network security and experience in items such as Bluecoat, proxy, firewall experience.

This position is needed to help stabilize the Network Infrastructure. There are multiple SIP streams, Stabilization efforts, and transformations/refresh projects underway.

There are not enough resources within the region to handle the change load and maintain the existing infrastructure.

Required Skills: AT least 4 years experience with the following:
Knowledge of IP Multicast including PIM, IGMP, MSDP protocols
Knowledge of Ethernet Channel, trunking, STP, RSTP
Knowledge of WAN technologies and working with various carriers
Knowledge of Riverbed WAN optimizers (prefer Riverbed but other experinec is OK)
Understanding of Cisco Routing and swithching protocols (BGP, OSPF, Etherchannel, Trunking)
Understanding of DNS

Support of financial market exchanges including low latency trading infrastructure(NYE, NASDAQ)
