We have a requirement with our direct client for a Tester with QTP, QC, and SharePoint
Position: Tester with QTP, QC, and SharePoint
Duration: 9 months
Location: Raleigh, NC
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include: participating in reviewing and analyzing project requirements for clarity, understanding and testability; developing a system test plan and test cases; developing automatic test scripts for functional and performance testing; executing the test cases and test scripts; and providing input or creating testing artifacts to include but not be limited to: Test Plans, Test Results, Metrics and Defect Reports. The individual must have proven experience with developing test documents, automated test scripts and testing web applications with complex interfaces across technology platforms. Experience with the specific technologies mentioned above is a plus as well as experience with HP''''s suite of testing tools (ALM/Quality Center, QuickTest Professional, LoadRunner/Performance Center and SiteScope).
Required Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience testing business web applications
• Minimum of 5 years' experience writing test cases and automated test script development
• Strong, demonstrated documentation skills (test cases and test artifacts)
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in testing complex business applications across technologies
• Demonstrated experience in review and analysis of project requirements
• Strong HP Testing Tools Suite experience (ALM/Quality Center, QuickTest Professional, LoadRunner/Performance Center and SiteScope)
• Strong Microsoft Suite experience (e.g., Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Ability to organize/manage own work and meet a pre-determined schedule of deliverables
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge in principles of content management and SharePoint
• Knowledge of principles of e-workspace, i.e personal dashboard
