Netezza Administrator

Location:  Chicago, IL

Duration: 6 Months

 

JD:

 

·         Netezza Administrator 6+ years of experience in IT,

·         4+ years in Datawarehouse and BI environment

·         Atleast 3+ years DBA experience

·         1+ Year(s) experience  as Netezza DBA

·         Prior experience on DB2 UDB, Oracle and/or SQL server 2008 would be a plus.

·         Excellent knowledge of Netezza Architecture and system internals, including updates and features on new versions

·         Excellent data modeling and data architecture knowledge with logical and physical data model knowledge

·         Good infrastructure and network knowledge to troubleshoot potential infrastructure issues

·         Consulting on use/relevance of Netezza for projects, future initiatives, providing thought leadership on the Netezza appliance platform

·         Very Strong SQL knowledge and troubleshooting skills on SQL

·         Experience with ETL tools like Informatica power center, SSIS and Reporting/Analytics tools like SAS or Business Objects would be an advantage.

·         SQL optimization and query plan / execution optimization for adhoc queries,
