Description
Knowledge of / ability to execute project tasks (surveys, interviews, data analysis,etc.) Excel experience (1-3 years) Experience conducting surveys Project management experience A bachelor's degree is not required if the candidate is qualified for the position. This position is temporary to assist with a project within the exempt funded Information Security Transformation portfolio.
***Position is part time - 16 hours per week - for 4 weeks. Start date isn't until October.
Summary: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities for an IT based project.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field. Zero to two years relevant experience with previous project management experience required. Skills and Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients. Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence. Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
