Role: SOA Consultant
Location: LA, CA
Duration:6+ months
Start date: Immediate
Responsibilities:
• Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science), Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years relevant experience as a Systems Engineer in a fast paced environment required
• Experience in developing and deploying Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and web service is a must.
• Experience in developing SOA conceptual solution design aligned with Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA Suite 11g and OSB of the proposed system with support from technical and product experts while ensuring that the solution aligns with IT strategic direction and architectural standards.
• Experience with Oracle Coherence is preferred
• Experience in Business Systems Analysis, Requirements Elaboration and high-level architectural designs
• Understanding of software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development is required
• Leadership qualities, including ability to facilitate technical discussions with diverse and cross-functional groups, time management, organizational and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to adapt and change priorities as the business needs change
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to the target audience to achieve desired results
• Understanding of latest trends and technologies including mobile based applications preferred
• Understanding of security and/or infrastructure would be a significant benefit
• Demonstrated success in working effectively with Program Management, cross-functional teams and senior management
