Title:Senior Java Developer(FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW )

Location: Foster City, CA

Duration: 12+ months

Responsibilities
- Design and Development of new features and enhancing existing features for automation of virtual infrastructure management.
- Designing and developing scalable, distributed, multi-threaded applications using J2EE and open source frameworks.
- Ensure infrastructure services are adequately tested and integrated with other Infrastructure and Application Services.
- Ensure availability and reliability of infrastructure services.
- Building and managing development, test, integration, performance and stage environments

Minimum requirements
- 5-7 years of hands-on development experience in Java/J2EE
- Expertise in REST and SOAP based web services, Spring, Hibernate, JSON, XML, JQuery and object oriented methodologies
- Good knowledge of SQL and DB concepts (SQL Server preferred)
- Experience writing unit and integration test cases.

Strong in core Java/J2EE.

Experience in REST and SOAP (intermediate – moderate knowledge) based web services is required. Some other skills: Spring, Hibernate, JSON, XML, JQuery

object oriented methodologies experience.

Experience with API's. Experience with Java 1.5 or + version.

Experience with automation is also huge plus.

Experience working with databases (any databases).

Concurrency is not that important. (Some multi-threading experience required).

Good experience with Java Collection Framework is required.

Cloud computing nice to have.

Problem skills required.

 

Nice to have:
- Good knowledge of virtualization, cloud concepts (IaaS/PaaS)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (specifically scrum)
- Experience in mapping Cloud IaaS capabilities to system, network, storage technologies.
- Experience in using vSphere Java SDK/API's for automating virtual infrastructure management
- Knowledge of Python frameworks like Django or Flask is a big plus
- Knowledge of ServiceMesh's Agility REST API (optional but a big plus)
