Windows IIS Admin (Dot Net)

Location: Melville, NY

Duration: 6 months+

 

Basic Qualifications:

·         Minimum 5-7 years of industry experience with an emphasis on IIS, Web Administration 

 

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for the operation and administration of IIS web servers across Engineering, QA, Staging, Demo, and Production environments

·         Responsible for the operation and administration of Application Deployment technologies for all environments

·         Responsible for the operation and administration of Web Content Management Systems

·         Maintains and monitors all IIS applications to ensure performance and availability. Performs troubleshooting and responses to all IIS related application issues.

·         Domain Operations Responsible for the operation, and administration of network and server monitoring, in regards to web hosting

·         Performs server troubleshooting and patching as needed. Performs SQL server troubleshooting in support of Application Operations

·         Communications / Team work Work collaboratively with all members of the organization and foster open communication between departments

·         Work independently on assigned tasks and keep manager informed of project status and issues

·         Interface and work collaboratively with project management, quality assurance, customer support, and other team members to resolve issues

·         Act as an escalation point for issues within the department. Assist the Senior Web Application Administrator as requested

 

Required Skills:

·         Need to be familiar with Windows 2008 R2

·         Need to have working experience with IIS 7.5

·         Comfortable working with IIS 7.5 - websites, virtual directories, application Pools, etc.

·         Familiar with basic IIS security

·         General Windows Sys admin experience
