Description:
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills Experience in Backup -Avamar Backup and Data Domain administrator
Roles and responsibility "Ø 8+ years of experience in Backup administration using Veritas Netbackup 7.1, Data Domain and Avamar
Ø Experience in migrating from Netbackup to Avamar and Data Domain
Ø Hands on working experience in Data Domain DD860, DD890, DD7200, DD4500
Ø Experience in configuring new Data Domain, configuring the DD interface and bonding
Ø End to end Data Domain administration including configuring the DD box, installing DD BOOST, creating MTREE and CIFS, working on AD access control
Ø Experience in working with support team (Network, platform etc) to configure Data Domain and Avamar.
Ø Hands on experience in implementation, migration, administration of EMC AVAMAR grid on a small to enterprise scale.
Ø Knowledge of Backup tools and appliances from Symantec, EMC, NetApp, and other vendors
Ø Experience in EMC Data Domain De-dup devices and technology (should have good knowledge on De-dup concepts)
Ø Capacity planning within the Backup environment
Ø Experience in ITIL V3 framework and processes."
