VB.Net Programmer w/ VB6
Location: Edwardsville,IL
Duration: 6 Months Contract + DIRECT HIRE

Description:-
The Programmer role is a key member of the Technical Support team with the responsibility of working with users to define software solutions and then develop, implement and support the technical components of that solution

Programmer Qualifications:-
Programming Languages:-
~ Visual Basic 6
~ VB.NET

Database Knowledge:-
~ Microsoft SQL
~ MySQL
~ Pervasive SQL
~ FoxPro
~ MS Access
~ Advantage

Data Reporting Tool:-
~ Crystal Reports

Web programming tools:-
~ PHP
~ Javascript
~ CSS
~ HTML
~ Wordpress (or other CMS tools).

· Ability to work with users to define software requirements and translate those requirements into detailed program designs and code
· Understanding of relational database structure and demonstrated experience in developing code
· Knowledge across a mix of programming languages including VB.Net, SQL and HTML
· Experience in object oriented design concepts and architecture
· Capability to successfully manage and deliver small projects
· Ability to define and execute rigorous test plans

Additional experience a plus:
· Experience in SOAP protocols and web services.
· Interoperability from COM to .NET.
· ANSI 5010 electronic claim files
· HL7 2.x / 3.x (XML) Clinical Care Summaries
· XML
· C#
· HIPAA / HITECH Act / Meaningful Use
· Understanding of Healthcare Clinical Office Terminology
