Job Title: Senior IT Security Engineer
Location: Carmel IN
Duration: Long Term Contract
Position Description:
The ideal candidate will function as a security analyst/administrator, participating in the full life cycle management and delivery of IT security operations and projects across the Allegion Enterprise.
The role requires the ability to effectively operate in a blended environment of business and technical personnel of various levels across the organization. The security analyst will engage as part of the IT Business Operations team with cross functional engagement with other IT and business areas such as Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, Regional IT teams, HR, and Legal. The organizational breadth of the position spans the global Allegion enterprise with particular focus on delivering IT security operations and service objectives with high standards of quality and responsiveness.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Drive the capture and clarification of all IT security related business requirements, parsing them into projects or matching them to existing services
· Drive Quality Assurance activities of IT Security projects
· Coordinate all IT Security-related business requirements with other IT teams and 3rd party service providers as they are required
· Assist all relevant IT support organizations in the assessment of a variety of support tickets – triage, routing, and resolution
· Follow migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs
· Drive operational security processes including but not limited to: incident response, end point protection (anti-malware, encryption, back-up), service desk, customer issue resolution, monitoring/maintenance of firewalls, IDS/IPS, secure web gateways, etc.
· Evaluate, install, administer, or advice on security products and solutions from major providers which may come and go within the environment over time
· Drive coordination and collaboration working with 3rd party service providers to accomplish IT security services and operations goals and drive results
· Assist in the achievement and maintenance of compliance with regard to PCI, SOX, ISO, HIPAA, ITIL, etc.

· Versatile and experienced with managing the execution of Operational IT Security and Compliance tasks
· Ability as a collaborative consensus-builder driving to meet business objectives
· Ability to deal with ambiguity and make quality decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
· Customer-focused
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, plan workloads and deliver on commitments
· Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
· Experience managing competing priorities successfully
· Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business language
· Learning agility, including a demonstrated ability to pick up and master business and technical subject matters quickly
· Ability to quickly build rapport and gain the respect and cooperation of both technology and business leaders
· Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to solve business problems
· Position qualification:
Required:
8 + years of experience delivering IT Security business solution projects throughout their full lifecycle
Preferred relevant industry certifications related to information security, networking, or other IT discipline
Required: Experience with mainstream IT Security tools and processes to be enumerated and explained by the candidate
