Title: Web Development Lead

Major responsibilities:
· Work with on-site and off-shore development teams to integrate java/portal application code and deliver total software solution
· Analyze system and application requirements as they relate to new features, or enhancements to existing features for web-based applications, and create a design and implementation strategy to meet the requirements.
· Oversee the deployment process of application code onto Development, QA, and Production environments.
· Document configuration set up for each environment when deploying new applications.
· Conduct or attend meetings with business/IT groups regarding requirements for new or enhanced web applications, accurately record discussions, decisions and action items.
· Communicate these requirements to appropriate IT personnel for discussion of high-level solutions.
· Review development policies and oversee code review tasks to ensure developers are following specified standards
· Maintain project plans to track monthly software builds/releases

Job Responsibilities:
· Conduct or attend meetings with business users regarding requirements for Business Intelligence applications, accurately record discussions, decisions and action items.
· Communicate these requirements to appropriate IT personnel for discussion of high-level solutions.
· Review Functional Requirements, work with IT Technical / ETL teams to clarify requirements, identify gaps or issues, and create Technical Specifications.
· Create or review QA and UAT test cases for each functional requirement, and ensure test coverage is appropriate for the requirement.
· Coordinate and participate in system testing as well as assisting business during UAT testing.
· Review daily break/fix/enhancement requests to determine validity.
· Maintain task lists / project plans to track activities.
· Create /update user and technical documentation, including how-to guides, run books, cheat sheets, or other instructions.
· Create and maintain subject area source matrix and label mapping.
· Participate in workshop training as well as assist with the Business Objects tools training content
Other Qualifications:
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
· Experience with Business Objects toolset or Business Intelligence projects highly desired.

· In addition to standard software development, this position will perform strong data analysis and design and conduct Test Driven Development/Unit Testing within formal software delivery and quality methodologies.
· They will work with both internal analysts and business experts and possibly external design and development agencies.
· Candidate should possess the following skills:
o Strong Core Java, JSP, Spring , Hibernate, Javascript Frameworks , XML processing, XSL, Java Design Patterns, Oracle Stored procedures, PL/SQL, jUnit, Ant, AJAX, Web Services.
o Experience content management systems and/or portal a plus
o Strong data analysis, design and testing skills
o Experience using Test Driven Development, Unit Testing/Integration Testing
o Experience with formal software delivery and quality methodologies
o Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of multiple teams
o Good communication skills
