CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE "BUSINESS WORKS" EXPERIENCE AND THOSE WITH "BUSINESS EVENTS" EXPERIENCE WILL BE CALLED FIRST.

We would like this candidate should have strong experience with TIBCO integration (as Tibco is the primary tool used).  Candidate must have Business Works, but Business Events is nice to have as well. 

This project will be replacing legacy systems and integrating new systems between operational systems and non-operational systems.

This is for a Tibco web services Integration consultant reporting to a Sr. Manager. The primary functions of this job includes collaboration with Business Analysts, Integration architects and like-minded developers to understand the requirements, identifying technical requirements, design and development of solutions.

 

Essential Functions:

•           Develops and codes applications to specification.

•           Identifies and implements appropriate testing strategy.

•           Executes all steps required to deploy/implement the application solution.

•           Promotes a self-directed team environment. Collaborates with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements. 

•           Provides technical and design expertise to the project team regarding applications solutions and problem resolution.

•           Runs code and design reviews and technical presentations to cross functional staff. 

•           Monitors system and application performance and troubleshoot/ resolve escalated issues.

 

In addition to the job specific requirements above, the following requirements are expected of all members of the team:

 

Qualifications 

•           7+ years professional experience in IT software development

•           3+ years of hands on experience with integration technologies is a must.

•           SOA / Web Services development is a must

•           Tibco BW and BE is a must

•           XML Programming / XSLT is a must 

•           Experience with cloud applications, Salesforce or NetSuite is a big plus

•           SQL is a must

•           Experience with Java services is a plus

•           Oracle PL/SQL is a plus

•           Well developed written and verbal communication skills in customer settings and with internal management. Strong active listening, facilitation and presentation skills

•           Knowledge of complex business principles and transportation management is a plus

•           Deep knowledge of IT software development life cycle methodologies and processes

•           Well developed time management and prioritization skills
